Sitting on the Moon is an excellent showcase for second-echelon stars Roger Pryor and Grace Bradley, here cast as songwriter Danny West and fading movie star Polly Blair.
Hoping to jump-start Polly's career, Danny breaks up his partnership with lyricist Mike (William Newell), who finds some comfort in the arms of Polly's wisecracking pal Mattie (Pert Kelton).

And so I was for 52 minutes and 53 seconds. The kind of movie, even after it ends, that'll make a bad day go away for a while. And it did. The acting was very good, the music nice, the laughs just right. Left me wanting more of the 1930s. 4 stars.

Very typical light romance. Couple nice songs. Story moves along. For the timeperiod and Bmovie class it is worth a look.
